Oil on canvas (18x20) - Painted in early January of this year. The first of nine still life's completed for my graduate exhibit course. From this first early foray into still life painting, which is what I would label a more old fashioned, or "traditional" still life. I ended the course with the Lamplight series; which I feel have a much more contemporary feel to them.
