The model herself is beyond wonderful, I've done many pieces of her. I don't want to disclose her name for privacy reasons.
This is a symbolic allegorical painting which represents the spirit of humanity.
Even in the coldest of darkness there's still the burning human spirit, fighting to survive amongst the surrounding chaos. This couldn't be more timely than now. Keep your spirits up people, to get through this world wide pandemic, in order to survive and to thrive afterwards.
