Boooooh, I`m too lazy to draw a background even if I want some! XDFinished and corrected version of an earlier lineart of mine. Damn, she looks so happy, dood! X3
Copic marker, plain copy paper (the ink from my printer smudged on my copic paper, that`s why I weren`t able to use it. Too baaaaaad. T_T

This drawing caught my eye immediatley for her movement. Yay, that's a leap!
I think that both tha anatomy and the pose are very well managed, I truly can't see any mystake anywhere. What bugs me a bit is the colour. I think it's well chosen, but I think it would look better with a more uniform and smooth colouring, for example in her hair. A part from that, the floating outfit is really nice, and her happy face is a plus ^^
I'd love to see her jumping from somewhere next time, why not try a background? (well, I myself I'm reaaaally lazy with backgrounds, but she would look even better... ^^). Nice!!

This whole pic was quite an experiment in almost every aspect and I´m happy that I finally heard something about the colour that isn´t "wow, I luvvit!" I´m still thinking whether I should use less colours and blend them better to get a more smooth look or whether I should use more and work on the acurateness of the lines. It´s a really difficult choise because I like both ways. /=
And the background...I tried to draw one for this pic, it´s still lies somewhere on my desk. But I don´t believe that I will finish it. But maaaaybeeee next time, I´ll make something with a background. Because backgrounds are a vital part to storytelling and atmosphere of a picture, they ARE needed. I know this but lazyness still wins over artistic ambitions, which is veeerrryyyyy wrrroooong.

About the colour, I'd say to go for accuracy and smoothness, I don't think it really matters if you use more or less colours as long as they get well together.
You're completely right about backgrounds, so important, and however, we tend to neglect them, maybe because they're more difficult to draw? I'm the same here, lazyness wins XD

Sometimes saying more than "awesome!!!" is difficult because as a non-english native speaker you sometimes are at a loss of words (in general).

I agree. Lazyness is the most fearsome deadly sin for artists. -.- And if I want to use backgrounds made from photographs then I have to go to an appropriate place and make photos of a place from all directions...but most time finding the right scenery is dificult as well. And you need to know beforehand which angles you´ll need. Guess the cheapest and maybe fastest way to get a background is just to bite in the sour apple and learn drawing them. But then there is the lazyness agaaain. And the difficulty. Mah.
