Description There once was a family blessed
with ability never to rest
till their work was all done.
They could never have fun
till they found out whose work was the best.

That family also was cursed
by compulsion to say things in verse.
They'd often give in
to this terrible sin
just to see who could do it the worst.

Bravo! Great Limerick I enjoyed it very much! it would seem not many submissions in the genre are actually in Limerick form but this was a treat to read!

Thank you. It was about my dad's side, a bunch of pioneer Indiana farmer-settler descendents. And it's all true. really. But I always made the best verse.
