Yay, that was fun! It's been a while since I did anything with After Effects, but after watching this tutorial ( youtu.be/ifrRytSc0Lk ) , I was able to make a nice, simple retro background animation using the artwork I commissioned my friend to make.
I'm thinking about making this into a Non Fungible Token (NFT), but I'm not sure if anyone would buy it. However, if there is interest in it, I'll make a 1080p (or 4k version if people REALLY want that) to use as a desktop background in Wallpaper Engine.
