It’s like I’m living in a pond- that wants to be the sea
Because I’m surrounded by artists- who all uniquely sound like me
using words like “Darkness”- to seem to be without glee
Alliteration only used to build a transparent screen

But I’m no different- I understand
My rhymes are as broken as the ones I demand
And I do the same, It's all a sham
Feelings don't pour out into my calloused hands
And I can’t make you understand
I sit on the wrong shoulder to guide your hand

And no- It was never about me
As if I was special enough to have them hear my plea
Because I know- there’s a million of me
