(Also did another version with John in a regular suit jacket b/c while I love the look and the symbolism of the uniform (in terms of Elizabeth’s character arc and her progression from being so opposed to the military and then falling in love with a soldier), I don’t know if it’s something he’d wear unless he really had to.
