Description Leviathan and his ex-lover Kitana when they had just met. Kitana dropped her comb into the sea and suggested the Dragon King to marry her blindly. Somehow, he agreed. The depicted moment comes exactly after she drops a comb.

He's a sea dragon-god, who can turn into a human. Name's Leviathan. He's in my comic. Here's a link, if you might get interested [link]

I'm impressed with the subtle Japanese painting feel you've managed to combine with your own style here. It is of course quite appropriate for the scene!

Thanks a million. I used to draw in both traditional japanese and chinese styles before. It's a remake of a japanese one. You have a really trained eye to notes this. I'm impressed. )

Naw, I'm just a sucker for traditional paintings, including all those sea paintings by that Japanese painter I never can remember the name of -- you know, the ones with the waves like fingers reaching for the oh so fragile boats.

Oh, you mean poor ol' Hokusai? I suspect, that you're just being too humble.

That's the guy! I can never remember his name for some reason but his scary wave fingers made a big impression on me when I saw that painting as a kid.

-grin- Yeah. If I hadn't already been addicted to the ocean by then I'd definitely have become aquaphobic.

Poor Hokusai, can't be that bad. They have that cult of death in Japan, but it's not that obvious there, at list he didn't draw ghost and foxes...

Japanese art is interesting, when they aren't drawing beauties and actors.
