Yeah, I've been called an "alarmist" before. Upon trying to spread a little awareness about just how dire are the future perspectives regarding the climate, the wildlife, the ecological state of the planet, to put it shortly. Then there are often those specimens who apparently disagree, or just don't want anyone bumping in their butt while they are busy hiding their head safely in the sand.... and they call me an alarmist for that reason, in order to discard me this way. As though this will cancellate the point I'm trying to make or abolish the problem altogether. It's not only stupid, cowardly and irresponsible. It's also dangerous. The world has never faced more dire times since there is humanity in it. What is worse, humanity itself is the reason for it, and no matter how violently humanity denies it, this won't change. But this isn't about some imaginary threat that you will only read on the news and that's about it. This concerns YOU. All of you. And everybody else who lives on this planet. If you keep going blindfolded the same way, you'll learn about the cliffside you're running towards the hard way. I am only trying to warn, as well as many others do. Call me an alarmist, but so be it. When the fire is spreading as a tidal wave right towards you, common sense dictates you could use an alarmist. And it also dictates that you listen to him before it's too late.
