The ø (resp. oe) is not an o, it actually doesn't have an English analogue.It's roughly a combination between the vowels in birch and book.
On this side of Grøtfjorden the mountains are no less majestic and intimidating to look at.
Standing on the verge of the water, the mountains tower right above to astounding heights.
One feels small, but the soul gapes in awe and sings in pure rapture.
The dark cliffs, shadowy against the radiant clouds in the sky, only enhance the feeling.
View from the western side of the road around Grøtfjorden to its southern end and the mountains surrounding it.
The slope on the left is a branch of Styrmannstinden, while the rest of these cliffs are from the Hollendaren mountain massif.
