Description The ø (resp. oe) is not an o, it actually doesn't have an English analogue.
It's roughly a combination between the vowels in birch and book.

After we climbed over the woodlands to the windy ridge, the hike transformed from a climb between gnarly golden birches into a leisure stroll over lichen-painted rocks and the usual colorful carpet of the autumn tundra.
The scenery windened and opened a brilliant view over Kaldfjorden towards the spectacular mountains on its western side, and the clouds opened up only just that way to add dramatic sunlight to the picture.
Amazing beauty that day, literally the best the autumn has to offer.

View to the west from Trehørningen, with part of Lyffjorddalen down below.
Part of the northern Kaldfjorden is visible, with the small Lyfjorden bay.
The large dark mountain to the left in the middle distance is the northernmost part of Storefjellet (560 m).
Beyond Kaldfjorden, to the right is Rundkollen (522 m), and in the valley that separates it from the rest is the road to Grøtfjorden.
To the left of the valley, is Tverrfjellet (407 m) is dark and only quite vaguely visible and behind it stands Storholten (677 m).
The saddle-like valley called Bondslettskaret that separates it from the rest.
The distant peak peering through the valley might even be from Ramnberget (743 m), on the far side of Grøtfjorden.
The next larger massif is Orvasstinden (980 m) with the ridge Breittinden (963 m) visible behind it only just.
Finally, the last in line peering from behind Storefjellet is Storeblåmann (1 044 m), hidden in clouds as always.

02.10.2018, Trehørningen (283 m).
