I believe the Wittlebasch also had Julich and Berg. Of course it may have been with different people in charge, so I suppose it wouldn't be rolled into this country. Though having that area nearby with relatives as dukes, as well as a relative as a Prince-Bishop would certainly help them out.

Just wondering but why would it be easier to achieve this exchange when compared to the War of Bavarian Succession three decades later?

Because Old Frtiz is not old and powerful as he will be, he will bickering as this increase austria power in HRE but he would still get Silesia later on so just can rest.
My butterflies are different but the idea of the swap must happen in the time frame before or during the war of spanish sucession, later austria is too busy to pull it.

IS that so.
Though I would suspect that because of this exchange, the branches
of the Wittelsbach House would work on taking control of the Rhineland
and Dutch Republic with the desire of recreating the Kingdom Burgundy

Tell me more, those are ideas how butterflies would spread, make sense as Wittelbasch would control a pretty rich area and have the support of the empire if france tries something funny and yeah the dutch republic would try expand if Wittelsbach Belgium is doing it too.

Well to be more precise my online of research of the House revealed
the branch centred on the Palatinate(Not the colour) ruled the duchies
of Julich, Berg, and Cologne. Add in historical holdings of dutch counties
in the 14th and 15th century, they house has a lot legitimacy.

Excatly and they can used to slowly push their claims, remember they still have their palatinate holding so can slowly expand there.

Well if the Habsburg realm follows the route it did OTL as well as
the west of the Rhine being more secure. Probably means France
will take longer to get the Rhine border and instead push elsewhere.
