Description I saw a 70's photo of a friend and I thought of doing a photo of teenage Mush.

He was a socially awkward nerd (and still is) with difficulties learning English due to having learning difficulties and his first language was Middle Eastern (as he is from the Black Sea). He was picked on alot due to all of these other just for his glasses and braces. But he was quite a mathlete but had an excel on computing.

I love that nerdy look. Great job on the details, the glasses, braces, and tie.

thanks. The tie is his uniform as most British schools require uniform.

Oh that's right. I forgot that EVERYONE wears the ties in British schools. I like that.

it depends on what schools. The last school didn't do uniform but they make us wear a student card attached to a lanyard.
My primary school didn't make us wear ties, it was parental choice, my brother wore a navy blue/aqua blue tie, navy v neck jumper, grey pants (or shorts), black shoes and blue shirt, I didn't wear a tie, mainly I had a navy blue jumper with the school logo which was a Christian cross on it, white polo shirt, black trousers and black goody goody shoes, for summer, it was a plaid dress with jumper. There was no PE (gym) class dress code.
But in secondary, everyone had to wear black blazers with the swan logo, white shirts, black and white tie, for boys, it was grey trousers, for girls, black trousers or grey skirt, socks were either black/white/grey. As for PE (gym) class, everyone had purple socks and white polo shirts with the swan logo, but for girls, white jumper and purple shorts, boys, purple jumper and white shorts, the shoes were custom, track suit bottoms were only need if the weather was bad (ONLY if the teacher decides which was never) except Muslim girls who have to have their legs covered but the lesson were gender segregated. The uniform system was so strict, if shirt out or even a top button undone, get a headmasters detention.

You can't get much dorkier than this. I wonder if Mush thinks, "Oh, man. THAT was me?" when he looks at old photos. He wouldn't be alone.

yet, I could give him acne and have his trousers above waist but I don't want to over top with the nerdiness. This is a common reacton to everyone, I guess. I'm kind of too young to relate to this as I'm 19, but when I see my 5 year old photos, I used to dress like CWC and I was thinking 'OMG'.

You could give him messy hair and bad posture. Uncool, but not overly stereotypically nerdy.

You're not the only one. I used to have prominent bucked teeth(before I had braces), bushy hair parted down the middle, and colorful 90's clothes. I would like all photos and videos of me before age 12 to be destroyed.

I was thinking of greasy wiry hair for him. I had thought on, if Mush just washed his hair, then uses a hair dryer, it goes into shape then it puffs up.

my teeth aren't any different except a little bit more gappier and one tooth was hard for my little bottom teeth to reach each other. I used to even be tubby at 12 and 13. I had very short hair at 5 to 6 because I cut my own hair and my parents were furious about it.

BTW, I might be posting 3 deviations tonight and Paula has posted something.

It goes without saying that the glasses and braces look suits Mush very well. Interesting to see his abckstory about his teenage years, too.

it suits his nerdiness and it was in the 70's. Thanks. I would say more but too many artist comments may lose the appeal
