Ink drawing based on a picture of the always interesting actor Robert Downey Jr.He is Ironman from now on. That's all there is to it.
I'm watching Wonder Boys last night and I am thinking...wow, Spiderman, Ironman and Batman's girlfriend all in the same movie...who'd a thunk it?

I have had renewed inspiration for some reason. But escaping from work and life has also helped. Glad you like the new stuff. I see slight improvement here and there.

really nice drawing! totally looks like him. a little more contrast and dark parts might make give the drawing more depth. Love iron man btw. where did you find the ref pic? ive been looking for a high res pic of him for ever!

I can send you the pic if you want. It wasn't that high res though. Yeah, I have trouble controlling the depth of my drawings because of the cheap pens I use. I have to be careful not to splotch ink unexpectedly. It happens all of the time and then I have to try and compensate. Shading sux too. But that's what I do, draw using cheap pens. I appreciate the comments. I will work on that.

nah i guess its okay then. its just hard if not impossible to draw details from a low res picture
