The art is gorgeous, but if I actually had the plague I think I'd rather want her as far away as possible for her own sake.

As weird as their appearances were basically the earliest form of biohazard teams with all that kind of protection. The misconception of them spreading the plague around does have some merit to it in that they didn't know about sterilizing their suits. So they may have accidentally spread it by mistake.

The ironic part was that they weren't really doctors or at least didn't know how tho treat the plague

And possibly unintentionally spread it even worse because they didn't think about sterilization back then, so they may have accidentally made it worse. It was a fairly early concept of the biohazard suit though.

Aye, it was quite a sophisticated design for its time. Based around miasma rather than microbes of course, so obviously some parts were ineffective or counterproductive. But they had the basic ideas down, like using watertight non-stick materials to avoid exposure to sputum, and diagnosing with tools to avoid touching patients needlessly. And to be fair, since the science of the day theorized disease was spread through foul air, the filtration system they had actually did provide adequate protection against the transmission mechanism it was designed to counter. Only in hindsight it turned out to be the wrong one.
Our ancestors did quite the fine job there.

That is some sound advice, though. And - with no offense intended - pretty much all of your post is advertising your own offsite channel, and what isn't doesn't mention any details specific to the picture. So you must understand that when the first impression is it has the appearance of a form letter, people are going to get suspicious and less than agreeable.
