Description
Another character portrait - Amity Tressida, with what is going to be her signature flower, sunflowers. I don't know about you, but I find that there is something so enduringly cheerful about sunflowers, which is why I picked them for Amity. She's one of my sunniest and most cheerful characters so it seemed appropriate. It was fun to design a medievial inspired dress for once - I saw the print in a medieval clothing book and knew I had to try it out on an outfit.Related content

Thank you! I was overjoyed when I thought of the sunflower for Amity because I knew it was the perfect one for her (some of the other flowers I've chosen for characters in the past are less than perfect matches). And I love freckles too.

Green and purple are my favourite colour combination - they harmonise and yet there's a clash that makes them interesting, too.

I really love your "frames". They're well thought out and exacuted! The sleeves caught me off guard, though. At first I couldn't quite tell if they were her skin or not.

I can only take so much of frames; luckily I've had a bit of a break from them so I can be enthusiastic again. The sleeves do look fairly fleshy - my scanner, I'm afraid.

I think the sunflowers go perfect with her! I love sunflowers, but I never know where to plant them , because they grow so big, so you want them in the back, but they need a lot of sun so you should put them somewhere up front 
I like seeing them though, in big wide fields! they always cheer me up

I'm not sure on where you should put sunflowers either - I think they're such cheerful growing flowers that it doesn't matter so much, as long as they can sunbathe. XD
