Yeah, it does have a bit of that, escpecially recently. Which is too bad, becuase I'm really going to need the background drawing skills when I go into animation.

Study up on those annoying perspective and still-life drawings, and then add them to your cartoons. That's pretty much what all the great cartoonists had to do.

a story with such a character as a hero would be quite interesting to see/read... a villain would be just too easy.
