Sketch of The Four, from the Inherent Universe. Four large, already established, criminal organizations, each headed by a veteran criminal with technology themed abilities, decided to pool their resources to better protect their interests. Their conglomerated crime syndicate goes by the name Applied Sciences. Even though they spend half their time plotting against each other their combined strengths make them near untouchable. Each runs their empires separately but they share technology and resources, assist each other when needed, and have shared access to an umbrella army of personnel including a group of Inherent Operatives that carry out official Applied Sciences business (or protect The Four when needed).
