Yeah, there's work hanging down in Tacoma (7 pieces at Robert Daniel Gallery) right now, I'm doing a 2 person show with Z. Sofia at the Rosebud in Cap Hill next month, then a small solo in February in Georgetown at They Shall Walk's Gallery. Got my name in a few more hats, but I'm waiting to hear back...
If you want to go to any of the upcoming openings let me know and please tell your pals- the more the merrier at these things.

well, the Tacoma show is only up for another week or 2 (they decided to extend it, it was originally only going to be a weekend show), but the Rosebud/They Shall Walk shows should be up for 3 or 4 weeks each. No openings scheduled yet (I have to confer with the fellow I'm showing with to see if we'll even do one) but I'll let you know...

It was ~vektar 's at Jazzbones. It was an Artifakt presentation along with some music although I cannot remember what bands... mostly I talked to her and checked out the art show.
But yeah, I should have time to make it down there. Note me the address.

Wow your frame work is intense.. I've only seen a few folks really put effort into framing like this i.e. Alex Grey.. How are you creating these? Dremel work? Hand Carving?

this one- crochet added to a diamond wooden frame my neighbor gave me. My friends keep an eye out for odd shaped frames on my behalf, and I make them better.

ha! thankeys...I was worried at one point that they would outshine the paintings, now i just don't give a shit...I enjoy working on both aspects of a work so much that i almost consider this much attention to the frames necessary.

Beautiful work. I love these hand-made frames you're creating as well as what they're framing. This one is especially unique in its shape; I really like the oval within a diamond.
