Description Seems like these days I can't ever finish a polished piece. 8(

The only things that look good are the things that I don't put effort into and the ones that I do spend a lot of time on are never satisfactory. Maybe it's just expectations.

Happy new year by the way. I'm back at school and a new quarter's started, which is why I've been smelling my new books. I have to admit though, as someone said on tumblr, textbook smell isn't nearly as good as comic book smell. Maybe it's the paper.

Maybe because comics are just more fun to read than textbooks.

In my experience comic books tend to smell like either paper or ink, while textbooks tend to smell more like glue. And old ones sometimes smell like peanut butter.

Oh that's totally true. People think I'm weird when I sniff new books, but they just don't understand. And comics are totally the best smelling books of all.

They still do have that refreshing smell though, however not-as-good-as-a-comic-book it may be.
