i think it looks really nice.
i find it very brave of you to commit yourself to this change of style - even though it remains you, you had to make an effort for this to happen.
i really like the mixture of rich textures, with creative use of space and traditional simplified shadows casted on the fish.
(i really like many of your works, but liking may be kind of subjective, so these are some reasons why i think this particular illustration is good)
