Description ALSO:

If you have double letters then you can just write one of them and then put a line underneath it, to show that it is two.

Vowels go under or over the letter that they come after. If there is no letter before the vowel then you just put a vertical line in the space where the letter should be. This also applies when there are two or more vowels in a row. From the second one onwards there would be a carrier line.

With double vowels [ee, ii, oo, uu, aa] you can choose to put both of them above the letter before, only recommended if they fit, or put one above the letter and the other with a carrier.

If the last two letters of a name are vowels, and they both go at the top, then you will have to use a carrier. However, if there is one that goes on the top and one on the bottom then it is acceptable to put them both around the last consonants.
