If only in a parallel world John Carpenter was mistakenly approached by Marvel Execs to make a "Thing" movie, it would be the best fantastic 4 film ever!

I would love for that to happen, and think a take on the Fantastic Four by John Carpenter written by Dan O'Bannon would have been a brilliant film.
