may i ask if you used motion blur in photoshop to make the hair to the left fade and blur? or is that something that you put in without?

Hi Guy Once I've finishing painting I usually duplicate the final layer and add a Gaussian Blur. Then I erase the areas I want to keep in focus like the facial details and hands. Flatten everything again and add a light Sharpen filter. The amount of blur varies for each piece and the effect I am looking for.
