Hiya. The art direction was based on the original legend, but some of the imagery used as reference did come from the Jet Li version.
The game that this was done for is loosely based on Eastern kung-fu movies.Β

I really felt bad for the white snake because she got sealed away.....I wish she and the herbalist had a happy ending.They were a perfect couple in my opinion.

Same here, but I think the movie was Β better for ending that way. Gave a more realistic, not so predictable ending to the story
