superman should have die in the superman vs aliens comic..he got face hugged, the writer totally ignore that that the alien created by superman should have all of superman's powers .. so get near the sun shouldn't have saved superman from the alien ..but instead charge chestburster's superpowers

I love this!! I actualy on the other hand think that Dc and the AvP universe would mix great together. If only the comics would have just gotten it right. v.v Anyway I love it!

I never understood why they'd mix something so...fake, or cheesy, or...what's the word...IDK but I never felt that aliens could feasibly mix with comics, but this pic provides a little more...perspective? Reason? Realism? Why can't I find the right words tonight? Well anyway it's good, it has a nice presentation and execution.

I think shallow is the word I'm looking for...hm. Comics, especially the older ones, seem to have somewhat of a black and white world, a fantasy land, I know the perfect word, but not right now, darn it.
You know who's going to win most of the time in comics. Aliens is a pretty down-to-earth kinda thing (ironic considering it's about aliens) there are no good or bad guys, just people trying to survive, creatures trying to survive, and other people trying to make profit, it's pretty real in that aspect.
Mixing these two is kinda like mixing Mario with Halo in my opinion (video games, in case you don't know) it just doesn't fit with the realistic feel of the aliens franchise, and the fact that they make it like their own comic books is not helping. I don't mean to say that it's a bad idea or anything, I mean, look at your pic you try to actually mix it to see what would result from it, a comic-realistic hybrid that has a nice way of portraying things.

The reason it hurt him if I remember is that he fought xenomorphs on a planet where there was very little yellow sunlight, which is the source of his power, so his powers were diminished.
Obviously, it's the only way to make it even remotely fair since Supes could basically lay waste to an entire hive otherwise.

I also have this comic, the cover was misleading, poor ALiens, have no chance against a kryptonian. Even Hal Jordan took pity on them.
