The color and lighting with practically everything crimson or gold just ups the coolness factor of this illustration greatly. What's fantastic is how much expression and personality you get across, just with his eyes and eyebrows. Fantastic.

Very, very well done. I particularly like the detail on the background, as well as the fact that all the people are keeping their sweet distances. Besides being a samurai, he's a Scorpion....so that fear is fully justified.
