Day 5 of my Juliet Month drawing challenge! Every day of the month until my birthday (the 14th) I'll be drawing a picture related to my OC Juliet, along with a short little bit of lore for the character. :3

In Multiverse 4, Juliet passed away in tragic accident. This led MU4 Lasercraft to go mad in his attempts to bring her back (yes he's the villain in this timeline). His first attempt was to create an AI using Juliet's old memories. But even though it could mimic emotion, he knew it wasn't actually alive, nor was it the real Juliet. So instead he repurposed it as his virtual assistant (akin to Tony Stark's AIs Jarvis and Friday) which he named "Julie."

His second attempt was to bring back Juliet by creating a clone using her DNA. Unfortunately, none of the clones survived very long, nor did they attain sentience. Rather they were living bodies with no soul or conscience (yes its kinda dark, its supposed to be). After many failures, he tried one final attempt by splicing some of his living DNA with Juliet's DNA sample. This led to the creation of Amany, the one clone who managed to gain a soul. Because of the spliced DNA, Amany was slightly disfigured, inheriting a mutated combination of Lasercraft's blocky genetics and Juliet's non-blocky appearance. After Amany's creation MU4 Lasercraft gave up his attempts at cloning, and adopted the sentient clone as his daughter... since that's essentially what she was, a combination of Lasercraft and Juliet's DNA.

Completely focused on his efforts to revive Juliet, MU4 Lasercraft is usually too busy to actually spend time with his daughter. Instead, Julie takes care of Amany for him. Because of this, Amany treats the AI as her second parent, often referring to her as "mother" despite her father's insistence that she's just a soulless AI.
