Fun stuff guys!
Here at good ol' SCAD, I joined a club that helps people get their comics and manga published. At the end of the year, we all submit our 15 page stories or 5 illustrations (Or both) and it gets published for free, and we can buy a book if we want.
So, because I'm super excited about this project, I've been working on making some characters for a short story that may evolve into a larger story, who knows!
So, the one in front is Gi. Haven't decided if it's pronounced "Gee" or "Jee" yet, but eh, we'll get there. He actually has a little backstory in my mind on how he got to be the way he is, but it's too long for the story story
Behind him is Mel. I love drawing her hair~ I think maybe it's the curliness of it plus the blunted bangs. I dunno. But it's fun. I'm probably gonna draw her in a tartan dress, because tartan is beast.
The guy in the far back right is Dezra, the demon doctor and part time shaman/exorcist/whatever is paying well at the time. His left eye is "blind", but it sees strange things occasionally. He doesn't like seeing such things, so he either wears a bandanna covering the eye or just drinks himself into oblivion.
And the anthropomorphic cat is named Bitz. He just kinda tags along and provides the one liners and boosts the story along.
So far, not so bad, neh? We'll see how it goes.
