I can wholeheartedly agree with those comments I read just on the latest page of them - but why is it great, amazing, wonderful, magical?Β
For one the composition of it - spreading out the three parts of this set was a great choice - the distance in between them, the invisible line they are forming. It's not a flat picture because you show different depths here, from the saucer on the bottom showing its floral pretty pattern, the cup slightly tilted and you can see the inner wall of the cup.Β
I'm also amazed about the stream of liquid pouring - the little curve it makes as it exits the upper cup, a soft even stream, its translucency and defined edges, no real splatter makes this so awesome and well fitting to the overall composition.Β
Nicely framed, the saucer, again, creating the edge to the image in a non even line, yet fitting on a table set up being the lowest layer of it.Β
The depth of field has me sitting at a small table, in a cafe, by a bay window, in a winter garden with the white window frame and a beautiful garden as a backdrop (...and then go sh*t!! I spilled my tea water!!! 
Another point - yes, it was done utilizing photoshop - but do you know for sure? The post production you did here is so very well done, makes it a piece of art that it's not really visible to the viewer, heck, might as well just be a frame of a consecutive series, a frame from a high speed recordingΒ

Thank you so much for your lovely analysis of this photo! The liquid pouring was quite the trick to pull off for sure. This was back when I first got a 50mm lens with 1.8, and I loved creamy, bokeh filled backgrounds!

Looks fantastic. I know some technique where one does not intensively PS the picture, learnt it from my favorite toy photographer where she usually applied the technique to her toy photos.
