As the days go by I feel slightly insane,
Here by myself, conversing with pain.
Since no one else truly seems to care-
They learn what they want then hurry to share.

So I'm left here alone with shadows gone by
That whisper and snicker of many a lie.
But I'll sit here and take all the threatening blows
And quietly wonder if anyone knows-

Of the sorrow, the suffering, I'm trying to hide
With bitterness and anger lurking inside.
I want to be free, as bright as the sun
To break loose of this cycle your words have begun.
