Nice contrast between dark and light. It's sharpening the border. The way the dark curtain curves in the lowest part of the picture makes it appear that the castle is seen from behind of that black material, maybe through the rip?
Though I think the picture might have worked better if the light part of it was white, as it would sharpen the contrast - what do you think?

Thank you for your detailed comment! I painted this work with black ink on white paper. After the scan, I understood that the contrast is too strong, the work looked hard, the atmosphere was lost, so I use a texture.
