It happens in Volume 7, and seems to continue until the end of the series. It surprised me to see him turn like that.

Huh. Well thats a downer...but it makes me want to find and read vol 7 again.

Volume 8 is out, I know because I bought it. Yeah, it's too bad about Walter, but at least he looks even cooler now. XD

Seras' arm regrows into into a huge bat-wing/blade thing when she becomes a vampire. She can also switch it back into a regular arm if she needs it.
