Oooh~ I really liked this, the moment I saw it in my watch list!
I think the pure white used in some parts is a nice contrast with the smoky/hazy purple/pink used to shade things in, it really adds to the mood of this. I like the clarity of the room, and the window, opposing the hazy moon and sky in the back ground [the kiseru from his pipe as well], your little details added to the room are in good taste and attractive [i.e. the mini paintings on the lanterns, the screen, the back to the chaise/couch, etc]
I like the darkness of his eyes as opposed to the milkiness of his skin, and I think the pose you've put his arm/hands in is really well done. I also like the flowers wreathing the bottom of the picture, and I think it adds a bit of a mystical or fantastic edge to the picture~
[Actually, I think the detailing [flowers, his braid, the screen, his robe, etc~] makes this very glamorous in it's way]
If I were to change it, I would take away the lantern on the right, because I feel the picture sort of sweeps up from the bottom left up to the top right, and the lantern on the right makes that side a touch too busy, and perhaps I would make the shading on his chest a little darker [I originally didn't see it, until I tilted my head]~ However, even with out these alterations I think this is a very solid, well done, picture!
