Description STXI - Pencil line work with digital coloring. October 2009.

Star Trek Big Bang 2009 community.livejournal.com/star…

For bigmamag's Star Trek Big Bang fic, "Refractions," community.livejournal.com/star… featuring the collision of three very different realities of the U.S.S. Enterprise.

Even though I didn't illustrate a direct scene from the fic, I was greatly inspired by the appearances, personalities and differences of the Kirks and Spocks. Also what better place to frame and express the conflicting power struggles among the characters than on the bridge of the Enterprise.

Special thanks go out to the Star Trek Big Bang Mods affectingly and zippitgood whose extensive volunteer work made this Big Bang happen.

Almost! It's actually a different universe than Prime in the left frame, but you have the others right! I recommend reading the fic it is based on, if you like K/S.

So glad you enjoyed it! It's written by bigmamag for the Star Trek Big Bang on LiveJournal. I selected her story to illustrate based off of the description as my contribution to the event. It was quite fun!

You noticed! I was stumped for how to draw the three sets of Kirks and Spocks until I spotted the design to the display windows where the camera pans out from Pike gathering Spock, Kirk and Sulu to shuttle over to the Narada. It was the perfect find!
