Another beauty! I love your drawings! Do you think you might perhaps consider allowing me to use your drawings in my collages? Β I would credit you and link back of course.

Yes you may use them as you wish but please look at the terms of the copyright on the reference photo that I used (I give this info in the description).Β If permission was specifically granted to me I do not think that I it would be right then for me to give permission to you, but it it was a picture with a general permission, such as a suitable Creative Commons or similar licence permitting derivative works, then feel free.Β I would be most interested to see what you can make of my grey images as your works are so very colourful!
Let me know if you use any,
Clive

Thank you! Of course I will be careful about copyright permission. Alas many of your drawings are taken from photos Β of which you had special permission to use. But I found a few! As I upload them, I will be citing you and linking back to you, so you'll know if I use them. I can also send you a message, no problem! Thanks again, your drawings are lovely and I can't wait to get a chance to use them!Β
PS for how. I use black and white with color, see these for example:

Thank you very much, Dwayne.
No I did not know that it had been taken as stock for a digital repaint.Β I am flattered by this but wonder why, when I provided a link to the account where I found the stock, he did not go to that rather than use my drawing, thus perpetuating any errors I had made! As you say, he has done a good job.

She is very pretty. You did an amazing job on the hairstyle. I find it so difficult to draw braids because of all the different heights and angles.Β

Thank you, Sofia.Β With braids break them down into a series of interlocking curved lozenge shapes which you sketch in lightly (practise on a piece of scrap paper if necessary).Β Then shade each individually from ends to middle to give the appearance of hairs and shine.

Thank you.Β Indentation is where you use a pointed object (I used a 'dead', non-functional ballpoint pen here, but have used a knitting needle or a sharpened wooden point) to make indentations in the white paper where you want fine white lines, such as a stray hairs on what will be a dark background, before you start shading.Β When you shade over these indentations with the side of a pencil point, the graphite does not go into the indentation and so you are left with a fine white line.Β You can then pick it out further by adding shadow to one side if this is needed. There are a few examples in this drawing and many in my Dru drawing.
