Long time no see, huh? It's been a long time since I entered a Model of the Month contest. But that time has been spent learning new editing skills and refining them, and I must say, looking back on my earlier work, it shows how much I've improved.

Celebi was the first thing that popped into my head when I heard about this month's theme (Flowers and Nature). I decide to forgo the "cute fairy" approach and went with a Shinto-style shrine maiden look, due to the Johto Region's more traditional Japanese flavor. The idea here is that she's a cute but mysterious protector of the forests, a spirit who guides lost travelers home and takes care of the Pokemon that live there.

The bells on her head and staff are gold and silver, and along with the ribbons on her staff they represent the Legendary Pokemon Ho-Oh and Lugia, two other Pokemon revered as gods in Johto. The ropes on the staff represent the three Legendary Beasts of Johto, Entei, Raikou, and Suicune.
