Your archer's poses make a lot of sense unlike some I've seen XD

Typically, in archery, you want an ancor point for your hand that you pull back with, for repeatability. Hard to hit anything otherwise. Usually under the jaw, or thumb-to corner of mouth. Unless you're just going for a typical fantasy look.
