Description Indian actress Aishwarya Rai as Lalita Bakshi, in the film Bride and Prejudice, a British-American "Bollywood-style" adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.


This was the first of Aishwarya's movies that I watched. It isn't the best movie ever, but I enjoyed it, and fell in love with Aish right away ^^

Her character is supposed to be Elizabeth Bennet, so this is the second time she portraits an Austen character ( I can wait to watch Kandukondain Kandukondain, to see her as Meenakshi Bala, an equivalent of Marianne Dashwood )


Oh I know! I know it seems like in turning my gallery into a only Aishwarya gallery :S...but I can't help it! :S
