Aight so
Nova was held prisoner in a pocket dimension for about 30 years, give or take a few depending on what i decide. Magic was used to seal her away in her pocket watch, and then Leo finds her one day, how he do i don't know, but he do, and then he begins seeing her in his "dreams"
what's actually happening, is Leo going there subconciously because magic and his magic sword, when he gets the sword it becomes more powerful and happens more often, still need to iron it out
Leo never realizes it's not a dream because everything looks and feels weird when he's there, and also he can't remember when he wakes up
but one time she goes "i'm real dummy" and he tries to prove she's not by portalling them out, how it work i don't know, magic
and boom bam baby, he wakes up with a crying girl on his floor
