So I thought this photo was a bit haunting and it reminded me of a few episodes I went through two years ago. I used to wake up in the middle of the night unable to move any part of my body except my eyes. I couldn't speak, but I could feel. I was AWAKE , and very sure of it. I would see very strange things but my eye sight is so bad that everything was a big blur.
Naturally the first thing I thought was "eep! ghost!! I'm haunted!!" but after going through two nights in a row of my room turning red, my fan TALKING TO ME, and some strange being kneeling by my legs and resting it's head on me, I decided to do some research online. I even joined a forum where people talked about their different experiences with similar events.
Turns out I was having Lucid Dreams. I was awake, in a sense, but still asleep. So there! Once I realised that there was an explanation for it, I overcame the episodes and they never happened again.

Lol, I don't find this haunting or scary really, the only thing is maybe the black thingy (Forget what they are called) On her head or whatever. All i really see is a beautiful photo, and a really beautiful person, can you tell your sister she is too pretty for me? Lol... JK. But seriously she is really pretty in all the pictures you take of her i've seen.
Those dreams sound really creepy, I have never had them, but i have had something similar, where i am dreaming and i feel as if im suffocating and just really uncomfortable and idk really creepy feeling, and when you wake up you can't move at all, i tried lifting my head and got it up like a centimeter before i gave up, i hate those things.

I experienced something similar recently but there was no recurring incident. I'm glad to hear it is no longer happening to you.
The focus in this shot is just stunning. You have gotten the balance just right between clarity and softer focus and your colours are wonderfully complimentary.

I get that very often, and its actually called sleep paralysis...and is very disturbing, the feeling of being smothered and crushed. eek. But it's harmless. Ah, the photo! It is amazing, of all my recently submitted dev's, this really drew me in. Her gaze is haunting and the focus/DOF is simply amazing. Love the cool, icy tones too. All in all a wonderful piece! Great work.
