i took this photograph on the top of a ferris wheel in paris, one of my favourate shots from that holiday.oh my godd i was so scared while taking this photo that i would drop my camera, even though i had the wrist strap secured tightly on my wrist lol! if i dropped it it would smash and i would probably cry forever

it seems like pictures of that ride are very popular. We have a ride that looks exactly like that at my neighborhood Ride park(I don't know what to call it) and I've been meaning to get a picture of it, But it's just in the worst spot ever!

sure...
it's all to do with the layers and layer effects really. so first you may want to boost the contrast
so adjust the brightness and contrast to whatever you want (i usually do something like brightness 10 contrast 15 or something similar)
now add new raster layer, fill it with a soft yellow and set the layer to multiply, and then create another new raster layer and fill it with dark blue and set the layer to exclusion.
Now you need to change the opacity for both layers. I usually have both of them around 50%-80% opacity. You may have higher or lower depending on your image ^_^
or you can type 'vintage effect' into the deviantart search bar and im sure that some more tutorials will some up

I took the photo from the high ride when I go to the park like this too ! 
I was just same like you, worry that camera will drop although there is a camera strap
