Description
After some time on Spherus Magna, the humans thought that they could create a "Toa" of their own.
Without ever asking Matoran, Toa, Turaga or any other robotic lifeform.

The result is this. The robot did exactly what it should do: protect the human enclave, as Toa and Glatorian protect New Atero. There is one difference.
The robot did not have something the Toa did have: a will of its own. The humans saw it as a tool, rather than a person. And considering a Matoran or Toa a person, was a big stretch for some.

Thus the robot sparked the interest of none other than Miserix himself. He felt pity for something that he thought that should have a life.
So he did. Miserix placed a kraata inside of the robot, and gave it the instruction to control the robot.
Unexpected results dictated that the A.I. of the robot itself and the kraata merged. Thus per definition of the Makuta, the robot was alive.
Still under the influence of the Makuta, it was better than being a slave to people that don't see it more than just a tool.

It started to roam the desert, looking for work. Much like some Glatorian used to do before the merger.
It went on to protect trade caravans. Not long after, it was taken in by the people of New Atero as some kind of pet at first.
Then they teached him. He became a unit that was sent on missions that had to be done, but weren't that high of a priority that one sent a Toa or Glatorian on it.
They never knew its origin whatsoever.

The humans were mad, that their latest creation walked away. The scientist tasked with creating the A.I. was sentenced to jail.
Another scientist took over, wrote a different program, managed to mass produce the parts... to create Heroes in a Factory.
