Description Title means: Fireheart. The german version of this word just sounded more natural to me

Since this is one day out of the year I have the chance to do critiques, I thought I'd at least try to give you one - and since you liked this review so much, I thought I'd make it a critique and add a bit to it.

i like the german title. it has a nice sound to it and reminds me of a fantasy novel. i also think it fits this picture very well. overall this is a good photo. the more square format is awesome. i like the job you did with the makeup: the change in colors with your eyeshadow is great (blended together very well for a smooth transition) and the red color of your eyebrows is subtle, but pulls it together nicely.

very nice focusing - sharply done and it also keeps a good shallow depth of field. i like the composition of the frame. you fill it with you subject (i do know it's you in the frame, but i'm keeping the focus on the art, because we'd be here for a very long time if i were to make it about you. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="395" title=" (Lick)"/> ), while maintaining a bit of space for a non-distracting background that has a good complimentary appearance that works for your photo. there's a cherubic appearance that's captured in this picture. the figure also has an enigmatic characteristic that leaves the mind of the viewer to wonder so many things as though it is a mystery to never be solved, which is also one of the best things about it: what's she thinking, doing, or who she is. countless stories contained in such simplicity and elegance.

Furthermore, I believe this photo is a metaphor for the whole of your work that contains a fiery passion that manages to bring with it a vast array of elements and sophisticated technique. Amid all of that awe, there's that thing that burns from within that not only makes this photo, but much of your work, special - and that each piece has it's own soul and a piece of you with it. I write this extra bit of critique to incorporate your full body of work, because I did not have the opportunity today to critique each picture in your gallery.

Well my dear Laura, the inspiration for my words are there in your photos, however, I feel that my words can never do your photos justice. You are ever most welcome. I do my best to give you a well thought out review when I can, because you and your work deserves nothing less. I'm doing okay, thank you. I hope you're doing great too. Thank you for posting such terrific work. I always enjoy viewing it for long periods of time.

Haha, I understand what you mean and you're welcome. (This is why I haven't tried my German with you. I'm afraid it would make no sense. I might start rambling on about giraffes. )
