Description Pencil drawing colored in Photoshop. This is the back cover of the multi fandom fanzine I edit, Shipped First Class vol 2 (pub 2010). This is the first thing I colored with photoshop ever (or since...gotta get back to that) and I think it came out decently (if a little sloppy and weird in some places). Basically flew by the seat of my pants to do it. Whee!

Great drawing! Perfect expression and poses. Really fun. And you've drawn visible pinstripes on the blue suit. Drawings like this could make me love it.

the girl is Rose. The t-shirt she's wearing bears the logo of the fanzine that this piece is the back cover of.

Oh, well the zine is a multi fandom zine but we have yet to do any actual cross-overs. The cover art for each issue has always featured a single fandom (one of the fandoms included in the zine). So far there's been a SW cover, a Doctor Who, and the most recent issue has a Stargate cover. And the covers always incorporate the logo in some way.

But what I should say... ugh, I'm so daft... but it's really beautiful. I have no such talent. I love the coloring, it's just... it's a little understated in the most brilliant way. It doesn't overpower the art, you know? It's brilliant.
