The Maid, or... Joan of Arc!I painted this from a view of the Joan of Arc monument in Washington D.C.... adding the sword that's missing, and trying to breathe a little more life into her.
Anyway, Joan of Arc is amazing... I foresee I'll be painting her again.

I so love Joan. She's been one of my heroes since I was knee-tall to a grasshopper. I can't even tell you how many books I've read about her XD Except to say that it's been a lot.
This is delightful. Entirely.
