Lavabending is firebending but whatever. I just can't wait for season two!!!!!!Edit: I now know that Lavabending is part firebending, earthbending, metalbending, possibly waterbending and everything else in between.
Korra doesn't belong to me, but if it did I would make the series endless.

I think that this is a really great dea. Fundamentally it's earth-metalbending and not really firebending.
But Since it's metals and earth elements in liquid form then to be bended it would require not one, not two, but three bending powers and techniques. Earth/metal-bending, firebending and waterbending. Earthbending because it's a mix of metals in lava, firebending because the elements need to be hot to be in liquid form and waterbending because it's liquid.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Except I suppose a firebender or and earthbender could do it by themselves, it would just take more effort to draw their element out of the two.

i would think that lava bending would be a mixture of fire bending and earth bending (because of the contents of minerals and such) so only an avatar could probably do it. this is a very interesting concept! i havent thought about it before, and havent managed to see something like this either, so cool!

I am adoring the pose. Her hands reaching towards the viewer and the fire is brilliant or is that water. Either way this is good.
