no they weren't difficult to do. I found the pattern on her cloak/drape hard, purely because I wanted to create an effect of a pattern but a loose one at that. I get frustrated with patterns sometimes, I just link them up, I could never have dotty wall paper or somesuch type. I would be constantly making shapes and lines!!

lol I was always way too scared to dare draw on my wallpaper... and it was such plain wallpaper as well...

it still sounds like more effort and dedication than I tend to commit to work. Though, saying that, I tend to get lazy with art at times.
Anyway, yes I love it!

Oh I didn't draw on the wallpaper, my eyes just follow patterns .

I can be very impatient too with my work which often leaves me rushing it and not liking it. This was an image I spent 3-4 days on, on and off. I allowed me to come back with a clear head each time I started

Yeah I tended to do that, I would look for any familiar shapes in the wallpaper (it was one of those with the little squiggly relief patters that could be picked off if very bored) but usually lost interest after a bit.
And yeah, if I really want a piece to work properly I'll take my time with or do practice pieces beforehand to make sure it'll work but at least for the moment I'm very lazy and usually just doodle or scribble nowadays. :S

Hmm true... that was a bit of a stupid word to use xD
I meant they seem a bit flat. Then again, yeah, traditional work loses a bit when it gets scanned/photgraphed.
