Altered playing card, 4 of 8---
Started by *lizole, finished by me. I sat on these cards for an unconscionably long time, trying to both honor the images laid down by Liz while imparting a unity to the set. Finally, they're done.

Apparently they are currently keeping their employees at work while they reorganize under bankruptcy laws. I wonder if they will reinvent themselves. It is sad. I remember that when I was raging-hormone pregnant, I used to tear up at their "Celebrate the moments of your life" advertisements.

It came about serendipitously, after viewing the Alfred Stieglitz collection at the Met. Those photos. I can't recall ever having been so moved. The film-strip thing was a natural result to the question of how to unify. Tough work!

Thanks. This one was the hardest for me. I covered up the junco (all but the label). It became a prey/predator dialog in my head. As it happens, it is now the wallpaper on my laptop, I like it that much.
