Apparently they are currently keeping their employees at work while they reorganize under bankruptcy laws. I wonder if they will reinvent themselves. It is sad. I remember that when I was raging-hormone pregnant, I used to tear up at their "Celebrate the moments of your life" advertisements.

It came about serendipitously, after viewing the Alfred Stieglitz collection at the Met. Those photos. I can't recall ever having been so moved. The film-strip thing was a natural result to the question of how to unify. Tough work!
