I painted this with Da Vinci's last supper as my model. The first master I became obsessed with was Leonardo and I fell in love with his life and his ambition. He studied everything,was interested in everything. Reading everything that I could, well not everything that would have been a lot, but to saturation, helped me find the direction of my own ambition.12 x 26 Oil on Canvas

Leonardo was great - and youΒ΄re quite amazing yourself. Remember, while Da Vinci had lotsa time to paint, invent, draw, write - we fool around on internet and watching stupid lame ass soap on TV. Turn it off!!!
But then again, we get to see a lot of different stuff that he never wouldΒ΄ve known. And there are no such thing as borders, thatΒ΄s pretty cool.

Damnit I will try. You never know if the last painting was the last painting you'll be successful with. Moody business this painting stuff. YOu know I watched this program once and they said that Da Vinci was forced to burn a lot of his painting due to government stuff. I can't even imagine.
Soaps not so much of a problem for me but the internet. I like talking to people and researching art. I paint a lot though, so I guess I'm okay.

Yes, I knew, itΒ΄s terrible. I donΒ΄t need the government to make me burn my stuff. I do that voluntarily
Same here, no soaps, but yes - I like to interact with interesting people myself, and search for inputs and what makes other artist tick, and as I write in my journal (in a comment) deviant is sometimes such a vampire slut. I need to step back now and then, just focus on my own work. And family. Kids. Dog. Life. Coffee. The Woods. The beach. And so on. And then all of a sudden IΒ΄m back again, like a junkie!

Sometimes I'd like to burn my stuff too. Especially the ones that I spend so much time on and it LOOks like I spent a long time on it... I think deviant art is like a vampire too. But maybe it serves a purpose for the fact that it is easy to be social. I think a lot of artists tend to be reclusive and we can't live in a vaccuum or our art suffers. And I can't focus unless I have coffee, it's part of my blood supply.

What must it have been to have known him. You know people aleways say that he should have spent more time painting. At some point in his life he burned a bunch of his paintings because of some government issue. They were going to search his house and he wasn't aloud to be painting what he was painting or something like that. I wonder what those paintings might have been. You said before were born and I wonder if it could be the tunnel of thought on the way out too?

he was too brilliant for his time. it's like how they've invented the hydrogen run car but we don't have the technology yet to take it to a normal sized vehicle. i'm hoping it won't be too late.......................
i think you're right.....both ways, tunnels of thought. coming from and going back to where we came.
